It's very important that the differentiation is continually made that the war in Ukraine is Putin's or at least Putin's Russia and NOT simply Russia.

We in the West too easily can slide into the "us and them" which serves no one well. This has happened already with America and China and the consequences are less security and prosperity for both countries.

Russia is enormously valuable and it needs changing and NOT destroying. Same as Ukraine doesn't need destroying.
