America has fallen into massive insecuity with big dollops of spite. Very ugly.

Just how we change this will take some work, work, work -- and time.

The Republicans actually have an opportunity to change this should a smart one see it. Democrats are in a poor position to have legislation, beneficial to many, accepted. Republicans own that audience.
