Great one Caren -- agreed with most of it.

Yep! No surprise that the Republican Senate delivered as late as possible and as little as possible. They have a mind set determined by Mitch McConnell and the like to do nothing but build walls. This will continue because they are terrified people in obvious danger of losing their clout and so their stategy is to stand still at best.

This is not a time for standing still however and opportunities can be worked on (not seized because the Democratic sweep was not there). The left of the Democratic party has identified many of the ills to be corrected -- and, much credit to Bernie etc, but their current solutions are wanting and many, many more people need to be corralled into the camp to make a change. The people I'm sure are there but some listening by all is involved.
