There is also an "American tribe" that is dangerous for our well being -- and others in the world. We have moved into a group think and confirmation bias towards China which is harmful should we want continued security and prosperity. Uncomfortable or not, listening to your supposed foes makes us stronger -- nothing to do with appeasement or weakness.
