Great article Arceneaux.

Democrats should be concerned because it's not out of the question that Trump as odious as he is comes back and wins. The candidates in-line on the Democratic side are far from stela.

Biden won the nomination and presidency largely by default. He was revived from political death out of fear that Sanders would snatch the nomination and was later sheltered by the pandemic in the presidential contest against Trump. Similar conditions can't be relied on to happen again. You reference the age question applying to Trump but the same applies to Biden whose mental competency will be a focal point.

Biden's immediate replacement Kamala Harris doesn't look great either. She failed to make it to Iowa, conducted a disorganized campaign and proved herself continually unprepared. She as VP has not displayed much to counter this opinion.

I hope the Democratic party is looking at some other candidates for the presidency 2024 because these two are qualified to lose.
