Grant Piper, interesting and valid stuff. But Putin's invasion of Ukraine is hardly about this.

Putin is a mobster boss who wanted Ukraine paying rent and subordinate to him. When Ukraine wanted OUT of this relationship and did not cower to his threats, he assaulted the country because it needed punishing into compliance.

Ukraine has stood up to the punishment and now beyond Putin's pale it has to be destroyed -- or at least as much as Putin can.

It's Putin's war and not Russian. Russians have already been conquered by him.
