Before extending a hand to Republicans, the Trump ship, with McConnell, Graham, Cotton, Kennedy, Bar, Navaro and the others that I have missed, would first have to be sunk and all America and world know that in no uncertain terms. Rescue is desirable, but at the same time ruthlessly conditional on the Republican Party reform (and not just words). Using your history -- something akin to the toppling Empire of Japan.

Donald didn't come from no where. And, the underlying reasons for his rise still exist -- maybe more, but at least now (and with Corona) we possibly see them more clearly. These issues have to be addressed -- first owned up to (the harder one) and then solutions found.
