The real travesty was the blocking of Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland as this set the scene for what has happened now.

The democrats made good use of the hearings -- they were coordinated with purpose and strategy. I thought possibly they could have stated more powerfully that this particular Nominee was there because she was the best bet to do the Republican bidding -- leave no confusion or ambiguity as to this.
