Republicans continue to paint themselves into a corner to what end I have no idea. As you say most Americans want access for abortions and understand for the most part that it is a health and private issue. Texas and the push in other states to do likewise hopefully will rally Democratic voters in the Mid-Terms. But in the mean time, women, families and all the rest of us are losers because of this stupidity.
