Giovanni, the U.S. is not going to be invading the Solomon Islands. America has paid little attention to the western Pacific Islands since WWII, and it has come to bite them now because China has a significant presence. To equate the situation to Ukraine is far-fetched.

I can't defend America due to its consistency, and it sometimes makes international errors. The error in Ukraine was NOT acting swiftly with military might.

Because Ukraine has had a history attached to Russia doesn't mean that Putin can invade, kill and bomb the shit out of it. Ukraine is a sovereign nation.

There is no more justification for Putin invading Ukraine than Boris Johnson invading Ireland or India.
