George, congratulations on your green moves. I don't know of any with an EV who would return to pumping gas, oil changes, noise, and exhaustion from an internal combustion auto.

That said, removing the tariffs on Chinese-made EVs would put thousands more back into American pockets -- around $20,000. This would substantially elevate American living standards while transitioning to a green economy more quickly than the current path.

But Biden is trying to stop the influx of EVs from China using 'security reasons' BS restrictions and even higher tariffs. He could be campaigning on delivering $20,000 in savings to most American families without them having to navigate anything or wait for a tax return.

City bus fleets, etc., could also be replaced by excellent EVs not necessarily made in America at substantial savings to taxpayers.

Solar panels are another case where Americans should be able to purchase at a fraction of the cost of those made here.
