It's actually pretty important that Democrats get their ducks in a row for President in 2024. Certainly immediately after the mid-terms this can be openly addressed.

The Democrats have lots of talent from which to choose. We only have to look at 2020 to see plenty of excellent choices.

First thing perhaps is for the party once again to engage Jim Cyburn. But this time to tell Joe Biden that he is NOT running and his VP absolutely NOT. They would both be candidate qualified to lose.

Pete Buttigieg is an obvious good choice but there are others and we shall see.

The idea is to not have a repeat of the damage done by the last Republican president but to lift America into a new prosperity and regain some governance in the world.

Democrats would be wise to assume that the opposition will be formidable.
