Excellent, Sarah.

We have moved into a more complex world of medium-sized powers like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and South Africa.

Disappointment with the West's help addressing COVID encouraged a more every-country-for-themselves attitude in the global south. For instance, South Africa would likely been on board with Ukraine previously.

America's growing isolation and self-sufficiency have weakened multilateral relationships. There have been zero new trade agreements in the past seven years, and none are pending (NAFTA was reshuffled).

There is a growing awareness in developing countries of income disparity similar to within America and the UK. How Climate is handled will be a real test.

Many thanks. Best.
