Excellent, Mike.

Changing public opinion is like turning a gigantic ship. But when it begins to turn, it keeps doing so. Generally, politicians and the press are not to blame: they can swing on a dime --and do.

That enormous weight of popular opinion is gathering momentum. I notice it here in Miami, where Tesla owners jostle for positions at charging stations, and luxury electric vehicles are increasingly common.

Admittedly, changing to EVs is the easy part of addressing climate.

The significant threats to solving climate are a rift between the global south and the affluent counties and America's poor relationship with China; I wrote: "America Must U-Turn and Avoid a Collision with China." Both will hinder the productivity required to finance the transition, which is exciting and expensive.

Great to read your piece. Many thanks and best.
