Excellent, Johnny P.
Loneliness is a killer that affects young men and much of the population. We anticipated that modern mobility and access would remedy the problem.
The solutions are multi-faceted.
Aspiration is critical, and when this crumbles, loneliness, despair, anger, and violence can too easily follow. We see this in individuals, communities, and nations.
Golly, there are many aspects of this, involving place, history, and yearning to belong. Any harbor is preferable to none at all.
We desperately need to change our misunderstanding of strength. Service is often equated with subservience, which it is not. Service is a strength rather than a weakness, and that may be a starting point for young men.
Many thanks. Best.
