Excellent Janice. Most helpful.

The art must evolve with the writing and not be a later stick-on. To capture and reinforce the script. Not just add to, but multiply the words.

We can also do more with audio and voice to enhance the written ideas. The Economist is impressive with its spoken option, which intensifies color and sharpens the wit of its writers (articles are, again, short). Medium has the audio option, but it's mechanical and flat and fails to enhance.

I came to write by way of public speaking. The two were created in harmony. The delivery was as vital as the words. I was often challenged at my writing club for acting rather than writing. To me, it was all one.

Your "Great Photo" is the delivery -- and the spectacular shopping bag.

I don't write anything without an illustration. And fortunately, I can produce this more easily than my prose.

Many thanks. Best.
