The West doesn't have the choice of NOT letting Russia back into the fold. Russia can't disappear from the world, and Russians have much to offer.
America and Europe don't have control over post-war Russia, but they can try to influence what will come.
The rebuilding of Ukraine should be taking place now, beginning with security guarantees like prompt inclusion into NATO (unfortunately, Biden slowly walks on this along with almost every other aspect worsening the tragedy).
And Russia? Journalists, in particular, need support from the West to communicate with fellow Russians.
Putin owns the Ukrainian war and not individual Russians. That distinction has not always been made.
