It was crystal clear on the Democratic side that most did not want Joe Biden to stay. But he dug in, and he, too, was enabled.

Your suggestion for removing the pair is valid. The big question is, where is the leadership to make it happen?

Even at this late stage, can two excellent alternatives be championed to challenge Biden and Trump? Biden is likely easier to replace -- Newsome would be fine, but there are others.
