Excellent, Hossein.

Unfortunately, we may have crossed a point where it is too expensive (lives, time, money) to oust Putin from the whole of Ukraine, which was possible only a few months ago. I don't know, and I hope I'm wrong.

Biden's "as long as it takes" is inadequate. What does it mean? As long as it takes for Zelenski to realize he needs to negotiate? As long as it takes me to lose my leverage to help with money and arms?

American leadership still needs to have a simple mission that embraces that of Ukraine.

Initially, the American and NATO mission should have been to prevent Putin from entering Ukraine. And failing that, especially with the Ukrainians demonstrating such bravery, talent, and resolve, the mission should have been to assist Ukraine in all capacities to oust Putin's forces from all occupied territory.

Because of our timidity and lack of resolve, we are not only in danger of an outcome allowing Putin (or another dictator of Russia) to perpetuate these crimes but also snuffing out the democratic strides Ukraine has unbelievably made in its time of adversity and terror.

Best to you always.
