Excellent, Hossein. Thank you for articulating some history that too few know or need to remember. We are forgetting machines with positive and negative consequences.

The historical context can't be either a hindrance or ignored in today's decisions. Recalling that the Iran/American relationship was once close (up until the hostage take) is beneficial to have in mind.

Old scores between the Christian and Muslim worlds continue to play out after centuries. Historically, who was responsible for the European Reformation? Today, why was Turkey not brought into the EU? Who does the storytelling has always played a part.

Netanyahu has doubled down in an impossible position that he will eliminate Hamas, free the hostages, and not allow a Palestinian state. Israelis must exercise a somber reckoning as to their future security and prosperity -- which can be magnificently achieved.

Can a political wing of Hamas can be established and fostered? This happened with the militant IRA (who performed atrocious acts) by way of Sen Fein.

Always enlightening. Best to you.
