As China moves forward (and we should hope it does because it enhances our lives), it will create increasingly more intellectual property, which it will reasonably demand others pay for. Hence it will join the West in that regard.
America would best bury past grievances of stolen IP because it's irrelevant to the modern relationship with China.
Unfortunately, Xi Jinping's China is NOT on the right course for China and everyone, but America and the West need to hang in there. I wrote an essay, "America Is Hurt by Its Poor Relationship with China," and would welcome your comments.
