There is certainly comedy in tragedy.

The horrendous loss of life on 10/7 has now been multiplied by ten (and counting). Israel's current course is doomed. It will not achieve the goal of eradicating Hamas.

But Netanyahu and others need Hamas for their power. And a continual state of siege is acceptable to them, especially if Big Brother America is paying. They don't care if the PR is bad.

Biden's performance has been flatfooted and unintelligent. He NEVER should have offered Israel the unconditional support that Netanyahu ran with. America is now up to its neck on the impossible side.
