Excellent, B Kean.
While little help will come from America and the West while Putin remains President, a post-Putin Russian must be brought into the fold of normal and prosperous nations.
It's in all interests to get Russia trading again and have international companies return. The sanctions need to be removed as quickly as possible. Young Russians should be encouraged to attend schools in the West.
There are opportunities for a new Russia that must be seized. This may seem wildly optimistic, but America, Ukraine, Germany, etc., cannot seal off Russia. If this were possible, the consequences would not be pretty.
We can argue (or pretend if we have to) that Ukraine was Putin's war, not Russia's.
Many thanks for your distinct perspective. Best to you.
