The solutions to climate change must involve making the entire world more prosperous. Climate allows this to happen, for without this massive "qualitative change," headway will be increasingly difficult to achieve. We will see the destructive forces of international income disparity similar to what we have experienced within countries.

An enormous driver to increase the prosperity of developing countries is the rich world allowing increased trade but also, many times, the immigration numbers. This would be valuable to both worlds but faces the challenge of popular resistance.
