The shift to EVs is happening quickly. They are an uplift in living standards. Few would return to incandescent lighting, having experienced LED.

Elon Musk and Tesla deserve enormous credit for trend-setting with sexy autos.

The price-tag complaint will diminish when the used EV market expands. We could also give ourselves a break (drop the senseless tariff) and import more EVs from China.
