Excellent, Alan S. Miller.

One direction from my home in Miami is laden with trees with odd patches of sky. It feels cool driving through in an air-conditioned car. On the other, less wealthy direction, it's all sun with elderly folk wheeling carts to and from the supermarket. It's hot.

There are shortly to be whiter, white paints that reflect heat into space and leave below the surface cooler, "To Ease Global Warming, the Whitest of Paints" -- NYT.

Many thanks.
