The frightening thing is that we will learn nothing from this adventure. We will shut the episode away until the next time the U.S. is attacked. Very similar to our cut and run from northern Syria. We walked away from responsibilities to people and are returning home with ZIP -- or more likely less than.

A shameful moment in American history.

The American trend over the last number of years is retreat from the rest of the world (less immigration, no new trade agreements etc). This is not a viable option should we wish to prosper in a world that is actually attached to us.
