They lost the White House primarily because the Democratic establishment chooses nominees instead of voters, resulting in lackluster candidates who fail to connect with audiences: Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris.

Bill Clinton and Barack Obama successfully broke through this system and won.
