Dustin, Joe Biden doesn't need to be clinically proven mentally deficient to demand another Democratic nominee. This is not a monarchy where there is no choice.

The choice is not yet Biden or Trump. Time is short, but a Democratic primary could still be arranged to find a younger and more talented president than Joe Biden. Unfortunately, Biden has made it difficult by refusing to step aside when most Americans DON'T WANT him again as president.

America can do better. Biden, never a great communicator, has become considerably worse. God knows how he will be in another few years. His performance recently in Vietnam was sub-par, as with his last interview with Zakaria (CNN) and Woodruff (PBS), which was barely watchable. Biden avoids interviews because he is so bad at them.

Biden has made a selfish decision to stay, and he has enablers around him protecting him and his decision.

To your point that it doesn't matter who is the president as long as they are not Republican?

It does.

The U.S. presidency has a ceremonial aspect, but it is mostly not. The president chooses his cabinet and makes the decisions that only he can. An orchestra can have brilliant musicians, but their performance will be wanting without a fine conductor.

Praise has been ladled on Biden by people asking him to stand aside. The praise will come under more scrutiny should he continue to entrench himself and will vanish if he loses the 2024 election.
