Dustin, Democrats winning against Donald Trump should have been straightforward, but Joe Biden made it difficult if not impossible.
Go figure how this happened and why you are writing this article.
What do voters see? A frail eighty-one-year-old whose communication skills (never great) are getting worse. This view is not just Fox News and Republicans; three-quarters of DEMOCRATS wanted a nominee other than Biden (a CNN poll in September).
But no. Biden gave the middle finger to this evidence and stayed put.
From the outset, Biden made his campaign around Donald Trump. He regurgitated the soul of America theme instead of presenting a future, an aspiration for Americans to imagine and hook into. Biden made Donald Trump the centerpiece of his campaign and elevated him.
Democrats now find themselves stuck with Joe Biden with you, obviously anxious, trying to bolster.
I invite you to read "Just Watch Me." We Have Joe, and It's Time to Go.
Full marks for trying to defend this guy.
Best to you.
