Dustin,

Pressure for Biden to exit the race is mounting. A bold and clever president would announce tomorrow on the Fourth of July.

There are no calls for Biden to step down as president, although they could occur following an additional calamity.

A competition for the nomination at this late stage could easily be messy, even chaotic. But if Democrats can remain focused on finding the best nominee to win the election and successfully lead America into the future, the risks will be worth it.

There are a dozen or more excellent candidates who can show themselves to voters through numerous discussions, debates, interviews, etc, before the convention. It's important not to fixate on any one candidate immediately. Harris's competing with others would be healthy.

Many thanks. Best.
