Dustin Arand, the Democrats, will benefit by opening the doors to talent and win against whoever is on the Republican side. Not only take office, but take America forward, address complex issues, and see opportunities.

Biden and Harris are candidates to lose and need replacing. As you point out, there is a ton of talent from which to choose. The most obvious is Buttigieg, who is smart, a fantastic communicator, and has a vision. He also won Iowa in 2020. There are also many others, and governors are often excellent candidates.

Incumbents are reluctant to move. They believe that what they began, only they can continue. If Biden needs a shove, then that should be done.
