Dr. John,

Leonardo de Vinci was classic Kitsune.

Never satisfied with conventional wisdom or the status quo, he was dogged in his exploration and collection of evidence of what was occurring. He dived into anatomy, machinery, and painting and could recognize connections between the disciplines of art and science.

He left much work unfinished and never delivered commissions on time. But because of this, he left more for us to appreciate.
