DeSantis is can be more dangerous than Trump because he is many times smarter. He seems likely to run for the Republican nomination 2024 regardless of what Trump chooses to do and is already being championed by folk at FOX.

For Democrats, this can be a helpful jolt from complacency. Joe Biden looks a weaker contestant up against Ron DeSantos than old Donald Trump. Democrats need to look for presidential candidate for 2024 who can win. Both Biden and Harris are qualified to lose.
