Demonstrating is a national pastime in France.

The youth of France is hurt by having to pay the pensions of aging parents and grandparents, which is a worldwide concern (with Russia and China added to the list).

What are the solutions? Raising the retirement age is one (studies show that most people are healthier and happier when working).

Increased immigration and productivity would help. But populations must feel more secure and less afraid to accommodate these changes.

Shifting emphasis away from jobs to productivity is essential. JOBS don't build economies -- they drain them.

Always excellent. Best.
