David, you are accurate with your criticism.

I would add that Kamala Harris looked as if she didn't want to be doing this. The hour was filled with advertisements, unwarranted introductory padding, and Tim Walz as addition fill.

The interview was passable and unremarkable. However it could be easily corrected by Harris doing another, more comprehensive interview without the mistakes you highlight.

The worry is that Harris is not up to giving a decent interview. An even bigger worry is that Harris has little to say and that voters are hostages yet again.
