The problem is enormous but not insurmountable. Again, trade is part of the solution, so rolling back on it makes no sense, like rolling back on automation and immigration.

A fundamental shift in the notion of work is warranted. It's NOT necessarily, at least in the traditional sense. Worthiness and fulfillment can be achieved after being laid off from an old factory job or a lecturer at a university.
