Chris, the investment and trade with Russia and China delivered security and prosperity, although not without limits. We are experiencing those limits now because of the authoritarian nature of Putin and Xi, which we must find ways to deal with.

It's unlikely that China would choose to supply weapons to Putin. There would be enormous damage to business done with America and Europe. America pulling trade, interests, and connections away from China weakens the bonds and allows Xi more accommodation of Putin. We are doing the opposite of what we should be doing because it's popular and easier.

An American request to Xi to choose to supply Putin with military equipment should NOT happen. Xi's "correct" decision must come from more fundamental means.

Thank you for your replies. There is much to discuss.

Best.
