Chris Snow, I agree that now is the time to step up the game and NOT give Putin a respite.

That said, there is a danger of wandering into idealistic territory, which can complicate and even entangle the objective of removing Putin from Ukrainian territory and ensuring he will not repeat his aggression (or that others in the world get ideas).
