Caren, maybe it is the legacy of Donald Trump, that we are locked into the here and now and can’t imagine anything even a few years into the future.

Biden still has a year and a half to survive his current term and most Americans can’t envisage Joe’s condition four years beyond as a doddering old man, if not a fool.

Biden’s mental ability concerns me more than physical frailty. He was NEVER a Henry Kissinger (who would not be so foolish to refer to himself as wise) and now appears to be losing what marbles he had at an increasing rate.

Biden’s communication is AWFUL. He has difficulty with a favorable interviewers. Some of his remarks are dangerous: Biden managed THREE consecutive insults to the leader of America’s biggest trading partner and second biggest economy, Xi of China at a recent fund raising dinner in California.

You are being kind (or unkind) shifting the blame to Joe’s old body.
