Caren, it didn't make a difference that they were lying. Republicans had the votes to elevate these select justices to the Supreme Court. And they did.

It was a long-term mission to overturn Roe. Mitch McConnell and the Republicans achieved that by the means that came their way.

The Supreme Court is now diminished. Democrats need to get abortion rights into legislation. And that's not impossible.

I'm repeating myself, but a dreadful day for Americans, America, and a world looking for our leadership.
