If Trump has the discipline to be reasonable (with an empathetic touch -- humility may prove incredible), he will provide a handle to independent voters and will win the debate and election.

Trump's notion of Green Cards for foreign student graduates (he previously tossed to a business audience) is a winner.

Biden's task of providing youthful luster, or luster of any kind is almost insurmountable. He only can hope and pray that Trump presents his base self.
