Cailian, I keep cash in my wallet for tipping Dario for cutting my hair. But next time, it will be electronic.

Debt is perfectly fine and can be enormously beneficial. Folk wouldn't have their schooling and houses without it.

The cost of carrying the debt is a concern as it can put people and countries under.

I'm struck by how indifferent most Americans are to interest payments (and, worse, penalty late or overdraft fees). The same people have a spasm when asked to pay for parking and shipping.

The almost monopoly that a few credit card companies continue to have is baffling. Hopefully, real electronic money is close to the future. Now that would be a gigantic improvement from paper notes and plastic -- a gigantic step up for ALL in the world.

We should first understand what money is.
