Cailian, Democrats vacating themselves from Florida, the fastest-growing state in the U.S., Republicans did the work of getting, particularly, new residents to Florida signed up as Republicans. What were Democrats doing?

What has happened in Florida resembles what occurred across the country. Democrats withdrew from places deemed "unable to win" and left folk in the hands of republicans who did nothing for them. But, hey, a relationship is better than none at all.

Democrats, for the most part, STILL don't get it.
