But possibly not the best strategy for Democrats to win votes. We have enough distractions.

We already have Biden championing voter rights bill and ending the filibuster. Neither of which will happen and will simply be chalked up as failures by gleeful Republicans and wound licking Democrats.

It will take time, effort and money, but Democrats have to get back into local politics. Places that they abandoned to have Republicans fill the void. Over time this presence can nibble away at Trumpism.

Selling from Washington has serious limitations and can be counter productive.
