Bravo, Adebayo.

Lots of cannons firing, and many hitting targets.

Britain made a relatively smooth transition from great to middle power. Rather than becoming a colony, it successfully adopted American business models, especially with Thatcher. Much to its credit, Britain reinvented itself.

While some British pined for a return to the empire days, Brexit was determined by the "Islander" mentality of protection not only from garlic-ridden sausages but from Syrian refugees and waves of non-Christians should Turkey join the EU.

Populations vote for things that are not always in their best interests: Brexit, and Donald Trump -- TWICE!

Excellent. Best.
