Bernie was instrumental with the Democratic agenda but the wrong person to execute it. The real talent to my mind was Pete Buttigieg (very smart, fantastic communicator, had a leg in the middle of the country and won Iowa). If he had been at least chosen as VP to the Biden, Democrats would not be in this pitiful position heading into 2024. I suggested at the time Pete should wear a dress.
