B Kean, that may be so, but there is no path for them to change the situation. They will simply get cold, and all the West would have achieved is pushing Russians and Putin together.

I understand your sentiment, but it's counterproductive and will likely have damaging consequences post-Putin.

We want to preserve Moscow as a nice place to live and perhaps bring some other places in Russia up to speed.
