Aza Y. Alam, George I was installed as a constitutional Monarch. That setup remains, and a democratically elected parliament governs the UK.
The expense for the crowning of Charles III was relatively inexpensive entertainment for millions of "brainwashed idiots" who appeared to be having an enjoyable time.
The Monarchy puts more money into the UK economy than it takes out. In short, the UK would be poorer without the "parasites."
Apart from income, the Crown offers the UK an identity in the world other places would love to have.
I'm not advocating a monarchy for America, but the British system allows for separating ceremonial and administrative functions. The U.S. President has to perform both functions, which can be cumbersome.
Many thanks.
