Asking people to make sacrifices is generally a nonstarter. In contrast, getting them to do what benefits them is more straightforward and essential to transitioning to green economies.

The road is more open for action than many believe.

Janet Yellen is in Beijing, telling the Chinese NOT to flood the world with excellent, inexpensive EVs, solar panels, and other green products. The ludicrousy of this is easily understood. Americans are being denied the option of saving $10,000 to $20,000 and driving green. The benefits outweigh the nationalist sentiment.
